Stop Your Acne In Its Tracks
During my career as a registered nurse, I learned a lot through the years aboutacne, acne scars, and acne treatments. Natural treatment methods are always abetter choice for acne due to less exposure to drugs and chemical-laden acneproducts. By their mid-teens, nearly 35% of teenagers have acne severe enoughto require some treatment from a medical professional. While almost all young people experience acne at least once, it has beenreported that 47% of those in their 20s and 30% of those in their 30s had acne.Acne is most common in teenagers and young adults. Acne is the most common skindisease.Acne rosacea is a red rash predominantly on the face. The most common type ofacne is acne vulgaris. The cause of acne is really unknown. It's not true thatdirty skin and stress cause acne. Understanding that hormones may have someinfluence on the cause of acne needs to be considered. For a good acne treatment, that has worked for many, try applying virgin coconutoil daily, but on a small test area first. You want to avoid squeezing, pinching, or picking your pimples because it can cause scars or dark spots onthe skin. One good natural method is to apply a thin layer of coconut oil andmassage it deep into the skin to heal and soothe it. Try not to touch your skinto eliminate possible contamination. It's easy to treat acne cheaply, simply, naturally, yet effective, at home. Rawapple cider vinegar application is a cheap, alternative acne treatment that hasworked for many adults, teens and children with acne, zits, pimples, orblemishes. Coconut oil is very inexpensive, therefore, a good, cheap homeremedy.A number of treatments are currently available to remove or improve acne scars.Acne scars result from increased tissue formation, response to the inflammationof acne and loss of tissue. Healed acne leaves scars in some people however, and it isn't easy to predict who will end up with scars after an acne outbreakand who won't.The liver sluffs off toxins from bad foods, drinks, drugs and chemicals andsends them through your skin resulting in skin eruptions, acne, pimples andother skin disorders. In any case, no matter what skin or acne treatment youchoose, whether it is chemical, drugs, alternative, or natural methods, changingyour diet will result in your overall good health! Drink lots and lots of pure, filtered water. Some alternative doctors recommend eating raw cloves of garlic daily for acne.Eat high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, and dried fruit, such as dates, and figs. Consider taking cod liver oil or fish oil supplements every day. Eatat least one organic apple with the skin on every day.Unclean skin favors the development of pathogenic organisms - the dead cellsthat continually slough off of the epidermis mix with the secretions of thesweat and sebaceous glands and the dust found on the skin to form a filthy layeron its surface. Many skin conditions can be converted into healthy skin usingnatural home remedies.Pick two or three home remedies or natural treatments and try them out on yourskin carefully. With cheap, safe, simple, natural, effective, alternative hometreatments for acne and pimples, your skin should be well on its way torecovery. And you should be able to get rid of your acne, zits and pimples andtheir symptoms, providing you've removed the cause, so it doesn't reoccur. For more information on natural treatments for acne and acne light therapy, goto Helen Hecker R.N.'s http://www.Best-Skin-Solutions.com specializing inacne, pimples, and skin disorders with tips, advice and resources for adults, teens and babies, including information on acne scar treatments

If you want to make your workouts more challenging you shouldadd running to your routine. Running can be a great hobby thatnot only is extremely challenging but overall very effectivefor burning fat. The nice thing about running is that it isvery effective in short durations. You do not need to run for avery long time if you don't want too. Running used with weight training can add another dimension toyour fat burning efforts. Also, you'll be in much better shapeas you keep doing it. While weight lifting is optimal forbuilding strength and shaping muscles, running helps you keepyou as lean as possible. You should check with your doctor first to discuss addingjogging to your routine. If you like to add running to yourwork out but you're not sure how to get started, keep thesetips in mind. First and foremost you need the right attire and environment tostart jogging. I would recommend that you find the right runningshoes. You should look into brands such as Brooks or NewBalance. It may be best to go to a store that specializes in runningshoes and you should get properly measured. Having the rightshoe with the proper fit will provide the right foundation foryour running regimen by limiting pain in your feet. The next thing you should remember is to start off simple andslow. If you are weigh a lot or you haven't ran in a long time, you do not want to put yourself in a situation that will hinderyour efforts. It's best to start off walking and then run forshort bouts of time. This is called interval training. Interval training is the best way to build up endurance forrunning. It provides workouts that allow you to challengeyourself on a frequent basis and at the same time allows yourbody to recuperate. For example, a good way to start is to set the duration of yourrunning workout for 20 minutes. Set your intervals for 2 minuteswalking followed by 1 minute of jogging. Use this as a baseline. For example if you get too tired or feel too much pain, increaseto 3 minutes walking with one minute or less jogging. The goal is to build the endurance, not hurt yourself and tryto push yourself to get a little bit better each time. You'llbe surprised how much better you get in such a short durationof time.About The Author: For a great book filled with Weight LossWorkout Routines that include weight lifting and running tokeep you active for a long time, check out our review ofTurbulence Training athttp://www.addfitness.com/turbulence-training.htm

No, I am not joking. Aerobic exercises are in fact exercisesthat offer your body the much needed oxygen to operate and foryour muscles to burn more calories. So, instead of trying toput on those tight pants you so much dislike, you can sweat upand exercise while doing some of your house errands. Everydayactivities can provide you with all the aerobic benefits you somuch wish for without having to suffer by looking yourself intothe mirror while wearing those ugly exercise Lycra uniforms. Cardiovascular activities, like walking or even gardening, canprovide into your daily routine with the needed levels ofexercise you need. After all, you will feel proud that you wentshopping, cut your lawn, or washed the dog, and at the same timewere doing an aerobic exercise. Just imagine that by walking for10 to 15 minutes, twice a day, even without dieting you canreduce your size by two whole numbers! Fitness experts alsostate that aerobic exercise can significantly reduce yourwaistline, since this type of physical activity targets yourabdominal area which is where all that belly fat usuallyresides. But the best part is that aerobic exercising is notonly for those stubborn bulges around your waist. It is one ofthe best exercising methods known, to burn more calories andimprove the state of your health. People that regularly performactivities that could be classified as aerobic types ofexercise, run a lower risk of suffering later fromcardiovascular diseases, stroke, diabetes, depression,Alzheimer's disease, and in some cases even cancer. So, in order to keep fit and improve your overall ability toburn calories sooner and for longer, find a physical activityyou like and make it part of your daily routine. Then find thenext and so on and so forth. By performing the ones you selectonce or twice a week, you are less likely to quit, since youadd variety to your program and most importantly you complete anumber of jobs around the house.
